For past 12 weeks we have visited a number of Zip codes and used our AI shoppers to identify winning Weekly Ads on our two metrics:

  • Breadth of promo appeal (% promos on front page selected by at least one shopper)
  • Depth of customer interest (% customers selecting any promo on a retailer's front page)

In our 13th outing, we visit zip code 98109 in upscale King County, Seattle. This zip code has a population of 34,551 and its characteristics of high median income ($130k) and a high rental percentage (80%) corroborate with a youthful population - median age of residents is 32.4.

For July 4th week we are in Liberty, Missouri. As well as having the perfect name, it is also just a 250 hundred miles due east from the geographic center of the United States (Lebanon, KS). Liberty has a population of ~30,000 and is a satellite suburb of Kansas City.
